Billing Information

When purchasing a subscription for our Services, we require you to provide an active credit card and associated billing details ("Billing Information").

Lesson Content & Resources

While using our Planning Services, you may create content such as, but not limited to, Lesson Plans, Learning Outcomes, Lesson Activities and Term Schedules. ("Lesson Content")

Student Data

While using our Recording and Assessment Services, you may upload Student Data such as, but not limited to, name, date of birth, gender; as well as educational assessment data such as grades or scores. ("Student Data")

Contributed Resources

Our services give use the option to publish Lesson Plans and Resources, which make them available to other users of our Service. ("Contributed Resources")

Web Site Navigational Information

As you navigate our services, we may collect information through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as Google Analytics. Web Site Navigational Information includes standard information from your Web browser (such as browser type and browser language), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the actions you take on the site (such as the pages viewed and the links clicked).


Use of Collected Information

Contact Information

We use the Contact Information you provide us, to perform the Services requested and provide electronic receipts of transactions.

We will sparingly use Contact Information to send you Newsletters, Promotions and Feature Announcements by email. You may opt out of these emails by using the un-subscribe links at the bottom of every email.

Billing Information

We use Billing Information solely to collect payment for our Services. We do not store any credit card information whatsoever on our systems. Any such information is passed securely to our Payment Provider (Stripe) for processing.

"Lesson Content & Resources" & "Student Data"

Lesson Content, Resources and Student Data are strictly your data and we treat it with the utmost privacy and security. They are never shared with third parties, unless required by law enforcement requests. The data is expunged from our systems within 7 days of you closing your account, after which it cannot be retrieved.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Contributed Resources

Contributed Resources created or adapted by you are published to other subscribed users to our service to use or adapt as they wish.

Contributed Resources continue to appear on our site after your close your account. You may optionally request we remove your community contributions, by emailing info@magpie.education. We will process your request within 14 days.

Web Site Navigational Information

We use Web Site Navigational Information to improve our Service, by analysing usage patterns. No personally identifiable information is passed onto Google Analytics.

We use persistent cookies to identify users that have previously logged into a session with our Service. These enable you to continue to use our Service without having to reenter your password. You may revoke any active sessions from your Account Settings or by emailing info@magpie.education

These cookies are encrypted such that no personally identifiable information can be read by any third parties.
